So, what does Muir gain from acting like a sexist git in this case? Because as far as I can see, this is simply so he can be a sexist git.

A day by day look at Chris Muir's Day By Day, punctuated by efforts to make the hurting stop.
Right?
ReplyDeleteI've been trying over the past few months to figure out the actual reason that Muir and his friends are against #MeToo. (Besides "Well, of COURSE they are.") Like, what's the angle, exactly? Why is this a Very Bad Thing? Why is it a negative reflection on women, as the consensus seems to be? How does it tie into their soiciopolitical beliefs? As with so much else that goes on in this circle, I can't figure it out. There's nothing political about this. So what's the angle here?
The title of a previous jab at the movement was "Women, Heal Thyself," if I recall correctly.
Soooo.....is he saying that assault isn't a thing and consent isn't a thing...? And...women need to stop...complaining?Damned if I know.
