As Muir once again indulges in his dream of a reactionary bloodbath that will set everything right, somehow, it's hard not to note how tired this all is. Watching Muir twist himself into backing Putin even as the Russo-Ukrainian War turns from 'self-inflicted black eye' to 'self-inflicted major wound' is pretty illustrative. I'm pretty sure most members of the German-American Bund were insisting that they were the real patriots in a similar manner.
