You know, we've seen these fantasies where Muir's political opponents become irrational and violent to justify his in-universe avatars own violent retribution on them hundreds of times in this strip. What's interesting is to see how badly Muir's breaking reality to get there in this case.

Obviously because he would very much like to enact violence against actual people and, like Kurt Schlichter, attempts to disguise these cravings in the veneer of fiction.
