It's the Day's Day of Days! Because Balvenie.
It says something that Muir thinks this behavior makes Skye sympathetic and one of the good guys.
A day by day look at Chris Muir's Day By Day, punctuated by efforts to make the hurting stop.

Okay...this one is the strip that has made me think I should maybe take a break from DBD. I have to ask myself at this point, how much ugly am I willing to fill my mind and spirit with?
ReplyDeleteAlso, I absolutely hate the world that Muir and his followers envision for those of us who are female.
Heh...really, when are his strips not "misogynistic as hell"? Occasionally he does take breaks to diverge into racism and Islamophobia, I guess....
DeleteThe women members of the peanut gallery just fascinate me.
DeleteThe only thing I can think of is that these women have been very well trained by their environment and culture to believe that their only purpose in life is to receive attention and approval from males, even at the cost of their self-respect. And one way they can get that, I guess, is by mimicking the misogynistic points of view of the men in the peanut gallery. I wish they would stop for a moment and realize that Chris Muir's world considers them to be completely disposable.
DeleteIt was misogynistic even by Muir's standards.
DeleteAnd as for the female fans--they think they're the fun girls! The girls guys can just be themselves around! Not like those feminazis!
John--you are exactly right about that.
