ReplyDeleteBoy golly. And years ago I used to think the writers of stuff like TV's "7th Heaven" had an oddly intense fixation on the sexual shenanigans of teens. But Muir's singularly obsessive ickiness just blows all those old dramas out of the water.
ReplyDeleteRe "fail as real girls" ---- At this point Muir couldn't write even a semi-plausible female character if his life depended on it. He was once able to do that, but those days are long gone. His female characters exist to bang, BE banged, talk about banging, and be the the subject of other people talking about banging.
