Muir might be the only artist I know of who has gotten progressively worse with time, despite the (admittedly heroic) feat of sticking to a daily schedule for twenty years.
ReplyDeleteI would be genuinely curious to see what, if anything, would come about from him taking some classes on composition and layout --- lessons which would probably be ensconced within an advanced Sequential Art course.
Not that he'd ever take such a course----he wouldn't be able to stand being around the types of people most likely to be in it with him.
Yeah, the moment you started talking about an art course, I was like "No way." Can you imagine Muir trying to put up with an art professor or expert? Someone who understands art, culture, history?
