    You mean you can't make any sense out of this one, either? Usually when I'm left baffled by these, you possess the uncanny ability to decipher them --- a talent shared, unnervingly, by the Peanut Gallery.
    I have no idea what is supposed to have occurred in this sequence, what point is being made, or what the gag is supposed to be.

      The gag is really bad innuendo, again. Zed needs to "have his oil changed" ...sigh.

      Sam, on the other hand, is rolling out a terrible metaphor about how the charm and submissiveness of foreign women will somehow force American women to compete harder for men. (Because according to the peanut gallery, modern American women are "skanks"). As with most of Muir's theories, it's been pulled out of thin air (and a hostility toward women).

      I'm feeling very icky being about to type this, but...
      I'm still not getting how "needing an oil change" is innuendo. HOWEVER. If he had said "I need to check YOUR oil"....

      Yes, I know. Blecch city. Forgive me. But if it were THAT, I'd have understood it.

      Right. I get both parts of the strip--but the connection is so badly done that they in essence act as almost two separate strips, one without a punchline, and the other without a setup. The Detroit line is clearly meant to act as a bridge, but doesn't quite.
