A day by day look at Chris Muir's Day By Day, punctuated by efforts to make the hurting stop.

The language being used here is the perfect encapsulation of what the world under total MAGA rule would look like. Bezos is the oligarch owner, therefore he can do anything he wants with the media company he possesses, and this is good and a show of strength. Meanwhile, a newspaper is but a "toy" for a wealthy person to play with...the value of journalism has no significance here.
ReplyDeleteIf anything, reading this just cements my determination to push back and resist against MAGA in all its forms. I don't want to live in Muir's world. Hopefully at least some of this crawls back under its rock after Tuesday. We shall see.
The thing to remember is that the fascist's approval of any particular oligarch is always conditional. If you're using your gain to stifle talk they disagree with, or supporting the fascist cause, then you're one of the good ones, a nationalist-minded capitalist. If you're doing things like calling out fascists, well, clearly you're just a nasty (((globalist))).
