Never Stop With Cheap Shots.

It's the Day's Day of Days! Because The Vanishing Rider.

Of course, in the real world, Obamacare wound up popular and we're now facing problems because the Repubs keep trying to find ways to cripple it. But fuck it, Muir doesn't have to deal with reality. He can just sit back, insist that every lie he tossed out was true, and that every morally bankrupt failure he's backed worked out.

Same as it ever was.

A Reminder That The English Did Not Win The Crown Of France.

It's the Day's Day of Days! Because tilt-a-whirl.

It's kind of interesting to watch Muir's crazy conspiracy theories being filtered through his tendency to dress himself up in a higher culture he doesn't understand.

Kind of.

He's Still So Mad That A Black Man Was President.

It's the Day's Day of Days! Because JUCO.

That entire strip exists for a terrible and obvious punchline that does not in fact line up with what is said in it at all.

So, yeah, I'm betting Muir ripped off some bad joke an online acquaintance here made and muddled it beyond repair.

Not Hating Gays The Way Muir Does Means You're A Sissy, Regardless Of What You Did.

It's the Day's Day of Days! Because kiss, kiss Molly's lips.

Today, we get the double shotgun blast of Muir hating on people who actually served in the military, and Muir demonstrating the extent to which Obama lives rent-free in his head.

They Can Just Teleport Them There At This Point.

It's the Day's Day of Days! Because the words of the prophets are written on the subway walls and tenement halls.

Nice of Muir to remind us that he's still a racist asshat worried about immigrants whose protagonists just seem to schlep through ludicrously impossible plots while facing bad caricatures in place of actual oponents.

"Remember, My Darling, I Think You Are Inferior, Because You Lack A Penis."

It's the Day's Day of Days! Because August Derleth.

Zed makes free with misogynistic dunks on male Democrats he doesn't like in front of his own daughter. Because of course he does.

"It's Saturday's Strip, Again, Pretty Much!"

It's the Day's Day of Days!  Because Black Jack Pershing.

Yep, more "Muir goes full Nazi, thinks he isn't" cartoons.  Fun.

"This Totally Normal Process Proves Obama Is Bad!"

It's the Day's Day of Days!  Because that's what it's all about.

You know, when Trump is being turned away from setting his presidential library up anywhere in the country, I'm certain Muir will be carefully ignoring the whole thing.

"The Eight Years Of Horror Between The Glory Of Dubya And Trump!"

It's the Day's Day of Days!  Because guitar solo continues.

What makes Republicans and the Right so loathe peace, prosperity and the good will of other nations?

"And I Say This Because I Am Rugged And Manly."

It's the Day's Day of Days!  Because History of Britain.

Well, I'm glad he's found something to distract himself...

Okay, "glad" is probably the wrong word.  "Wearily  resigned".  And it beats more looks at the horrible cast.

"Clearly Their Evil Will Only Continue!"

It's the Day's Day of Days!  Because Under the Lilacs.

So, the point of that was that Clinton is evil and sexist--which from Muir is achieving new levels of painful irony--and the Democrats are crooks.

'Not like Trump', is the implication, though these days he's reduced to whispering it.

"Stop Them Before They Kill Again!"

It's the Day's Day of Days!  Because passion fruit.

Yes, clearly the Clinton Kill List is the most important news of the day.

"Heh Heh! There Is Nothing Pathetic About This At All!"

It's the Day's Day of Days!  Because do not forsake me, oh my darling.

Sadly for Muir, Obama is always going to have been President now.

Sadly for all of us, so is Trump.  But hey, we lived through Andrew Johnson.  And James Buchanan.  And Franklin Pierce.  And...

Well, let's just say a rather distressingly large amount of the 19th century bench that isn't Lincoln and keep it at that.

"Pay No Attention To The Scandal In Front Of The Curtain!"

It's the Day's Day of Days!  Because white pepper.

So, the fact that Trump's associates were so connected to Russia to warrant an investigation is BAD NEWS FOR THE INVESTIGATORS.

It's going to be a long four years.

"And This Is Righteous Because I Did It!"

It's the Day's Day of Days!  Because it's eee-vil.

Trying to explain the tortuous logic by which this strip works is like making sense of the stories of that drunken old high school friend of yours who insists he's doing fine, and could have made a million last year, and now is trying to sell you Amway.

"Yes, Obama Sucked! And Trump Is Awesome!"

It's the Day's Day of Days!  Because the bullfighter checks her makeup.

At this point, I'm wondering if the Muirverse Trump administration is ever going to touch base with the actual Trump administration.

Drunken Ramblings

It's the Day's Day of Days!  Because the Cherokee nation will return.

You know, this is about what I expected from Muir--gloating, yes, but a constant iteration that they won, and they're the good guys, and all the others are bad guys who will go to prison, because they aren't them.

The Ghost Of D.W. Griffith Approves From Hell.

It's the Day's Day of Days!  Because I needed to try, I needed to fall.

Gonna be a long four years.

"Clearly, I Am NOT Racist!"

It's the Day's Day of Days!  Because the Philosophy of Spinoza.

...

I think deep down it infuriates Muir that Obama will always have been President now--for two terms, no less.

"I'm So Glad I Never Pay Attention To Anything That Isn't Crazy!"

It's the Day's Day of Days!  Because Rome was not built in a day.

It's kind of amazing, when you think about that, that Muir has never had to deal with the fact that his version of the President didn't match reality at all. So, having spent eight years prophesying a fascist takeover that never happened, let's watch him explain away a creep towards authoritarianism once again.
