Yep, Daschle is an evil out of touch aristocrat, as opposed to with it man of the people George W. Bush. No way that approval rating is ever going down! Even when it turns out he's fucked up clearing out the Taliban, and those tax cuts--which only benefit the wealthiest people in America--help send our economy into a nosedive. Conservatism is on top, and it's going to stay there! Because we never screw up! Top o'the world, ma!

ReplyDeleteAs I keep noting, the dominant mode of the Mystery Business (tm) Era--especially the Early Period---is smug, dismissive gloating. It'll shift to a more defensive, delusional stance later on, and be tinged by a lot more whining, but it'll still remain... well, this.
