No, Muir. None of what you say is happening is happening. The truth is you're a deluded sack of shit who was cheering and applauding while this nation oozed towards an oligarchy, with only the occasional flash of realization on your part that this might not be a good thing. And now that we're starting to recover--because you are a racist, paranoid sack of shit, you're certain things are going to hell. Partially because like all delusional fuckwits, you think that anyone who doesn't agree with you is evil incarnate. And partially because you don't want to admit that you were wrong.

But you were, Muir. The Iraq war that you insisted we won became an interminable occupation against local insurgents that you insisted weren't there. The other war you insisted we won began to collapse largely because we ignored it for so long. The diplomatic approach that was going to solve all our problems made new ones. The science that you thought was false was true.

You're a failure, Muir. Everything you thought was good was bad. Either you and the movement you belong own up to your mistakes and learn humility--or you just stop trying to do something you are so clearly unsuited for.
