    It's always interesting when Muir tries to imitate Trudeau. It just never quite works out. Yes, Doonesbury is known for its dry humor, but the last panel still needs to make sense.

    Yeah, Muir's writing has always suffered from a strange randomness, as if he never quite figured out how to connect the beginnings of his strips to the end.
