It's the Day's Day of Days! Because Sugar and Sack.
Muir's thoughts on women just ooze off the strip.
And I absolutely mean that.

A day by day look at Chris Muir's Day By Day, punctuated by efforts to make the hurting stop.
Are you aware of Dave Sim?
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if he or Muir is worse.
I am, and...
DeleteWell, Sim was genuine class-A talent before he broke up. Muir was a sophomoric frat boy during his "best" years.
I'm a little more generous toward Muir's talents, as I think he has a genuine gift for metaphor, wordplay and satire. Unfortunately, it's satire in the service of premises that are usually based on hallucinatory madness, which negates any talent he has.
ReplyDeleteI've thought of Sim often during this current climate, particularly in light of the rise of the "new misogyny" and the incels. I have no idea if he's thrown in his two cents on any of it or how he'd view them.
