    Please, please tell me he does not actually believe that is true. He cannot possibly be that insane. If he really does believe that that is what actually occurred, sweet mother of holy god.

      It's a genuine conspiracy theory of long-standing on the Right, because remember, they were hating the color red for decades. Suddenly becoming red, well, it had to be conspiracy, instead of chance.
