    It's maddening that this level of base ignorance can coexist in a world where anyone could access things like, for instance, David Pakman's excellent breakdown of socialism vs. social democracy vs. democratic socialism vs. communism vs. blended economies vs. unfettered capitalism.
    People like Muir are ignorant of the most elementary aspects of what they talk about on a level that far surpasses any level of excusable.

    Well, he believes he already DOES know. Deciphering how he arrived at this conclusion is above my pay grade.

    For real, though, one of the things in this world that I am most unable to understand is willful ignorance. I just cannot understand it at any level. I WANT to know what I don't know. I don't WANT to not know things.
    I simply am unable to imagine feeling differently.
