It's the Day's Day of Days! Because Stridex.
You know, just as Muir's fictional women make it clear he has no relationship, his Covid bullshit make it clear his semi-recluse lifestyle is the only thing keeping him alive.
A day by day look at Chris Muir's Day By Day, punctuated by efforts to make the hurting stop.

It's striking to me how Muir's (apparent) lifestyle seems to resemble that of another right-wing webcomic artist, Zack Rawsthorne of the late "Diversity Lane". Rawsthorne made it clear that he lived far out by himself on an isolated compound, and that he did so to get away from what he saw as ubiquitous depravity.
ReplyDeleteI find it sadly predictable that even though Muir's characters reside in Texas, the strip has not given even a moment of attention to the tragic school shooting there. Because of course, who cares about little brown kids getting gunned down. Let's have some more naked ladies and bad mask jokes. I suppose considering what Muir might have to say about the victims of the shooting, it's a small mercy that he hasn't included the topic.
ReplyDeleteHe crossed the rubicon of rubicons when he had Zed refer to the Christchurch massacre as "a good start". (I still can't believe it.) You may well be right. He might see this as a good thing.
DeleteI suspect this is why he is silent about this...because his private opinion may be something about unwanted "invaders" being removed. Again, I'm probably just as grateful not to know what he's thinking about this.
