Interesting to see Skye's journalist career and Mia's everything getting joined up, and quite possibly getting tied to Jan's... thing. They've both been spinning their wheels of late, and well, that usually spells the end of them. For storylines, it's frequently a petering out with no conclusion. With non-core cast characters, it's either vanishing into the ether, though sometimes they stumble on a bit on the sidelines.
Who knows, since Mari popped up in that last strip, maybe we will be back to the mystery that is Ian soon.
