Sometimes, it's very baffling what stock poses Muir falls in love with. Especially the ones he apparently decides are titillating.

    One of the grossest things about modern Sam is Muir’s heavy use of that face in panel one, which I can only call Loathsome Leer. Or maybe Smug Bitch. It just makes my skin crawl.

    And like so many of Muir’s stock faces and poses, it’s deteriorated over time from bad tracing and retracing. The eye has lost a lot of its definition, even accounting for its abstract design, and barely reads the way it’s supposed to lately.

    Surprised RC Cola is still around. I haven’t seen one in my area in eons.
    Speaking of, Muir couldn’t be bothered to have her hands actually holding those bottles in panel one, so they’re just awkwardly passing through them like she’s a ghost. Which makes the correctly rendered hands in panel two all the stranger.

      Technically, the left hand on panel 2 also looks like it's sort of phasing through, while the right looks like its crushing the bottle.

      And yes, RC still exists, though it's largely a regional brand these days.
