    I'm genuinely curious if Muir will allow Javier and Mari to become--and remain--a couple. My suspicion is that this will continue to be a comical plot twist for a while before they all chuckle about how "everyone is a racist and that's okay!" and they both go off to seek partners of the appropriate skin color.

      I genuinely think Muir is moved both by his inability to know what to do with Mari, and the quiet conflict between his growing white nationalism and his still significant 'And this proves I'm not a racist' drive.
