There's a reason I don't see any Trump restoration lasting too terribly long. They are running on 'abandoning allies to fascist invaders who have made it abundantly clear that if they win here, they're gonna keep going, the thing that spelled the end of to Britain and France's periods as superpowers, will of course, work out for us, because reasons, and also, Putin is such a dashing man'. This brand of fascist government, which pitches national restoration and gets you national humiliation almost immediately, doesn't last. It runs out of road pretty quick, and starts self-cannibalizing and making panic decisions.
Which doesn't mean you want to live through it, because they do tend to kill a shitload of people and commit a boatload of atrocities. Also, our hegemony going from 'fraying but still potent' to 'completely collapsed' is not going to be good for the world.
