Take the--high road? Jesus, does Muir actually think they have a legal right to shoot him in this situation? He's--a) only got a knife, and more importantly b) has already given up. If they shoot him now, it's assault--if they kill him it's murder--or at least manslaughter. You're allowed a proportionate response. They took it.
