But then I realized, clearly at some point with all the retcons, that original DbDverse became a different one  than the one they inhabit now, in the manner that at some point in the 60s, the Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman that DC comics were publishing were agreed to have become the Earth-1 Silver Age characters, with the original Golden-Age adventures all having happened to the Earth-2 versions. After all, the twins were now born before their parents were originally married. We are clearly dealing with versions of the characters quite distinct from the originals.

So with that out of the way, let's just shake our heads at the stupid sexism of this fucking strip.
