I don't believe it. Muir is quoting an insane Russian tabloid that is presently inhabiting the skin of the old Communist party mouthpiece. Because he thinks he knows what socialism is. Only--he doesn't.
This isn't the craziest thing he's said, especially lately, but it is a good example of how much further Muir's viewpoint has marched into crazyland.
