They won the presidency. They still hold Congress. Red states continue to take the majority of federal funds while viewing the blue states that are funding them as a bunch of parasites And yet the Right continuously tells itself that is the victim of a powerful cabal, a weak and persecuted people. And yet also strong and virtuous, unlike those people.
Which is why it has taken Muir under a year for the compound dwellers to go back to preparing for the coming civil war.
