Sam Is Terrible, Part 15,756

It's the Day's Day of Days! Because a classic martini.

Right, incompetent fascistic morons who demonstrate they shouldn't be given committee assignments getting booted is just like arbitrarily tossing people out because of their party affiliation.

You know, it'd be funny to see Sam's actions as chairwoman happen outside of Muir's bubble, where she'd probably wind up bankrupting the county both by spending on frivolous things and lawsuits for various actions, while ignoring state and federal mandates.

  1. I would love to see a strip showing what it would be like if Sam acted this way outside of Muir's bubble...because what would happen is that the rest of the council would ignore her and continue their committee meetings.

Yes, the chair of a city council has some additional responsibilities, like leading council meetings--something we already know Sam is not capable of doing, because SHE JUST FALLS ASLEEP.

But being the chair doesn't make her omnipotent goddess who can make the rules up as she goes.

Once again, Muir does not understand how governing works. The only kind of a governing position he can imagine is that of a dictator who can just order people to do whatever at his/her whim. Scary.

    1. I'm willing to give Muir some wiggle room on this, because if Sam had the votes to be elected chair, there's at least a chance that she'd have the votes to do something like this. But yes, fundamentally, Muir seems to think being County Chair is pretty much being County Dictator.
