    Yep. This would be sooo sweet...except that the DD Ranch characters have casually talked about wiping out other humans, kids, families. And the twins probably would have had a snarky comeback about that. So it's hard to buy their "empathy" now.

      That and this is as much about pushing the "evulll Muslim horde" bullshit as it is about trying to be heartwarming. (And your reminder that Mia is not merely a blonde woman from Afghanistan, she's a blonde Christian woman from Afghanistan, which... yeah.)
