      1. Sam is looking at Zed through binoculars, and saying he so hawt. Zed and she joke about the possibility that she's looking at him through a riflescope.
      2.It's a simple concept, even if it's done super shit.
      3. In a rare bit of realization, the Peanut Gallery are pointing out that Zed standing around shirtless should be attracting them and other bloodsuckers. There are none in the strip.

      I knew shed was checking him out with binoculars. What I misinterpreted were all the mosquito comments. They were giving me the impression that mosquitos had something to do with the strip/gag itself.

      Which, to be fair, would not have been a stretch as both the jokes and the Peanut Gallery discussion are frequently just that disjointed and confusing.

      Right, I think it's important to remember while the Peanut Gallery can occasionally act as something of a Rosetta Stone for a strip, they're just as likely to send you down a weird rabbit hole.
