Muir thinks thirty lobbyists is a massive number. This is yet more proof that Muir spent the Bush II years with his head up Cheney's ass.

    But, back in his days as candidate Obama,hdidn't he says that Lobbyists were not going to have a place in his administration?

    I could swear that he said it... More proof that you are a putz with jealousy issues.

    Jealous. Sure. That must be it. I'm jealous of Muir, the same way I'm jealous of drug dealers, with their selling a product to a desperate clientele that'll take it even if it's mixed with laundry detergent.

    Am I happy that Obama's hired former lobbyists? No, but the fact is that it's a fairly ubiquitous profession in Washington and refusing to take anyone who'd ever worked in it would cause a talent drought. And I'm a glass half-full guy--the fact that almost 90% of his hires aren't lobbyists is an unalloyed good thing.
