At this point, I'm really wondering what the Republicans can do to keep the Muirs of this world happy. It's like the list of demands get crazier every year.

There isn't anything they can do, and if they did, the cult leaders would have to invent reasons to be dissatisfied. Because modern conservatism is basically like a state of eternal blueballs. There can't be any payoff, ever, because then the entire motivational lifeblood of the cult would vanish. Without the rage, there's nothing to stand for.
