You know this is a pretty good illustration of just how much bullshit Muir's worldview is built on--he uses a caricature of a left-wing activist and a spurious comparison to Jerry Springer to discredit hearings on a Supreme Court justice even though it's clear Alinksy has nothing to do with the hearing, and the only reason he can dismiss Democratic argument is because he refuses to consider them to begin with. Muir doesn't just see the world through a series of funhouse mirrors--he makes sure only to look at distorted parodies of his opponents to begin with.
