It took me a few moments and reading the comments to even figure out what was going on there with the tow truck. This strip is so confusing.
ReplyDeleteI constantly marvel at how bad Muir is at staging. His compositions are always so muddled and confusing, and it's often difficult to know who's even speaking to whom.

I'm a comic author myself, and composition isn't my strongest point, but Muir makes me look like freaking Da Vinci.
He's terrible. I initially thought the tow truck was there for the flag samples or something...I mean, he's been on two different topics since Xir passed out, and now we're suddenly going back to that. Maybe he and the peanut gallery share some kind of alt-right ESP.
DeleteWhile sometimes it's being plugged into the same Crazy Express Muir is and thus knowing whatever bizarre conspiracy theory is in the air, I can't help but think a lot of it is Muir's fans will nod along enthusiastically with anything he produces. So sometimes, they don't get it, but they fake it convincingly.
