Ugh. The art in these last few ones.
ReplyDeleteIn webcomics, there's a tradition (relative to the Internet, anyway) of using non-original art - clip art, video game sprites, even photographs. Often, the low visual quality of these comics is part of the joke - using sprites to make fun of old-school games, for instance. Other times, it's the creator humorously acknowledging his/her lack of artistic talent.
But DBD is different. The templates are awful, and yet I get the feeling that they're meant to be really stylistic. It feels like Muir isn't in on the joke.
He's always been this awful. I mean it--I have to leave singling out the bad artwork for when he does crap like have Damon pouring coffee into a cup for a week.
