It's the Day's Day of Days!  Because and then up spoke his own dear wife, never heard to speak so free, "I'd rather a kiss from dead Matty's lips than you or your finery!" 

 And now Muir has once again completely abandoned reality to have Fantasy Trump deal with Fantasy Afghanistan with his Fantasy Magic Technology.

    I'm just standing here gawking at the irony of the notoriously cheap, penny-pinching Donald Trump being depicted as calling someone else a beancounter.

    Then again, the real-life Trump really IS that hypocritical....

      Muir feels that as Trump is His Hero, and A Good Guy, he holds all necessary virtues. This will be the case until Muir changes his mind, and declares him a bad'un. (See George W. Bush.)

    I honestly do not know if that will happen, or if Trump will be the ship they die on (drowning the rest of us with them). This feels different than Bush-mania did.
    Muir, as I recall, was not particularly worshipful, though many of his fellow travelers were. (Travelers who know denounce their former hero as a fool, a moron and a "liberal" on FreeRepublic).

    With Trump, he holds him at arms' length, but it's clear he truly does believe much of the portrait he paints.
    I don't know if someone that delusional can AFFORD to change his mind anywhere down the road. It would be too traumatic.

    But jesus lord, who the hell knows. Who the hell knows anything anymore.
