I hate what Star Wars fandom has done to Star Wars. It was bad enough when it was merely known for being overly filled with hostile, insufferably obnoxious fanboys. Now that same fan culture seems inextricably linked to right-wing social reactionaryism and Gamergate-style misogyny and racism.
