Imaginary Violence Against Imaginary Enemies To Avoid Dealing With Real Problems.

It's the Day's Day of Days! Because we'll become silhouettes when our bodies finally go.

It's been kind of remarkable over the course of this year, watching this strip transform into something that at least engaged with the real world, albeit in a heavily distorted form, into one that is almost completely abstracted from it. It's worth pointing out that Muir has barely dealt with the Presidential race this year, the rare times he has being in an almost backhanded manner. As for Covid-19, the worse things have gotten the more determined he seems to be ignore it as much as possible.

And why not? This year has been Muir having reality show him that he is wrong about everything, a coward and a fool whose ideas fail when a real problem happens. And so he has done what he did the last time this happened--he's found a little hole to bury himself in and weep, while occasionally muttering that he's a brave boy he is, and if he could, yeah, he'd totally beat up all the baddies. Only its worse this time, because Muir's spent twelve years degenerating in every possible way.
