Of course Babbitt was kicking in a window to break into the Capitol when she was caught, but then Muir isn't going to let things like the facts get in the way of his narrative of the herrenvolk being the victims here, which is he's doing things like conflating the FBI and the Capitol police. Because in the end, this is all about he and his are right, even when they're attempting one dumbass coup in the name of a stupid narcissist.
So, in Muir's schizoid reality, firebombing people the day before for trespassing is fine, but shooting someone for trespassing during a riot is not.

The people who were "trespassing" were brown. The woman who was shot was a white fascist. For Muir, as most of the American Right, there are those that the law protects, but does not bind, and there are those that the law binds, but does not protect.
