We're Holding The Feds Off With Our Allies, The Saucer Men.

It's the Day's Day of Days! Because the Young Flying Fox.

You know, as Muir indulges in his fantasy that he is connected to some epic struggle that amounts to an undeclared civil war, let's point out that the Compound has performed so many crimes it kind of begs belief that they aren't imprisoned right now.

  1. Why can Muir not decide if the girls are seventeen or five? It's weird.

Anyway, in fairness, I think we misinterpreted what we thought to be the mass slaughter of people a few weeks ago. It seems that, once again, after titillating his audience with the prospect of mass murder, Muir backed off actually going through with it yet again. Beats me as to why, though. His audience clearly thirsts for blood.

    1. Muir is caught between his desire to depict them as sex objects and his desire to depict them as infants to be sheltered and protected, and taught their parents' worldview.

As for your second point--don't give him any charity. This is an intentional strategy on his part, give them a brief appearance of bloodshed to whet their appetites, but keep things ambiguous enough that if called on it, he can claim it didn't happen like that and act indignant.
