It's the self-satisfied tone that gets you. Muir really wants to be a hero without doing anything.

    Again, there was a time when I was naive enough to Google Muir’s panel-one pronouncements. Now I don’t bother.
    What’s astonishing is that he’s far gone enough mentally to believe things this preposterous and repeat them as droll fact without blinking.
