Even Liberal Skye Agrees The Cities Are Decadent Messes, And Deserve To Be Purged!

 It's the Day's Day of Days! Because the standard for him is pefection.

...I don't know what's worse... Skye's shift to the hivemind, or Muir's shift to a sort of blend of fascism and Maoism.

    Thank you so much for keeping this blog! I'm so glad I'm not the only one with a shameful addiction to the terrifying rabbit hole that is DBD.

    One of the biggest disappointments about this one (aside from the usual lunacy) is Muir's inability to create an interesting plot. Especially as someone who lives in the smoking hellhole that is Portland, I was excited about Skye going there and was at least hoping for some dramatic confrontations with "omigawd evil leftist Antifers." But no, she just hung out by a pool in Forest Park for a while, and then...she comes back. No story arc, no drama....no nothing.

      Always glad to hear from my tiny legion of fans, especially one in what I've been assured are the desolate, MAD MAX style ruins of Portland.

      Muir's tendency to abandon these journalist"plotlines" is pretty baked in--for years now, he's begun them, and then just sort of lost interest, with the whole thing just dying out all at once. It's gotten worse as his obsession with the Compound deepens (alongside its supertech and racist mission), because well, this is at least the chance of seeing something outside an increasingly fishbowl world.

      Oh, it's absolutely a ruinous, desolate crater of a city here.

      If spreading that rumor keeps fascists like Chris Muir safely inside their gated communities and away from us, I'm happy to keep perpetuating that myth.
