Now, you might think Muir's painted himself into a corner with this storyline, but he's got a foolproof plan to get himself out of this jam. Surprise plot twists! Each more surprising than the last! The audience won't now what hit 'em!
He's done this time after time, and he thinks it works because his fans will applaud anything.
At his point you could fill a small book with nothing but his fakeout sequences. It's ridiculous.
ReplyDeleteHe has two modes of these--the intentional bait-and-switches, where he clearly went in expecting to do a fakeout, and garbled bits of lunacy like this one, where he adds a plot element, then thinks better of it, and so backtracks, resulting in an incoherent mess.
