I will never get over it. Never. For over sixty years the American right used "RUSSIA!" as a cudgel to clobber anyone to their left, using spurious association and grossly dishonest insinuations to cast doubt on their patriotism. Then in 2016, ALL of that just reversed itself. Overnight. I will never, ever be able to wrap my head around that.
