Even As One Gets Used To The Terminator Fixation, It's Still Unsettling.

It's the Day's Day of Days! Because Slithe, yes.

I think Muir's getting bored with this trip. We're starting to see filler strips.

  1. Meanwhile, as always, not a single word about anything happening. Not a word about policy. Muir has nothing to say about this colossal monstrosity of a bill that was just signed into law, despite it being literally almost everything the American right has been trying to achieve for decades (short of privatizing Social Security and public education, and banning abortion, but give them time). If he can’t even take a quick break from his allergy to policy to gloat over this massive, history-making event, just how tuned out IS he?

To be fair, some in the Peanut Gallery have taken a long enough pause from their mad paranoid rantings, bloodthirsty fantasies and lascivious leering to mention the BBB in passing.

    Still.

    1. Some of it is 'dog catches car', and some of it is the simple fact that for Muir this area of policy has become fairly abstracted. Muir wants the immigrants all gone, and the US to be back what he imagines it was like during his childhood, and that will never happen, so he just sits and stews in his bitter disappointment.
