    Fascinating. Does this mean we aren't going to get any more incompetent, hideously distorted renderings of Musk as he inexplicaby pals around with the Owenses?

    The comment about Biden forbidding oild/gas drilling in a bunch of federally owned land --- characterizing it as "pure evil".
    You know, honestly, sometimes I honestly can't even get angry anymore. I get tapped out. Instead I just feel sad. Like...how do you get to a warped, twisted place in life where you see protecting land as evil? Like actually EVIL? Not something you disagree with or think is bad policy. EVIL. It's just overwhelming. Despairing.

      I suspect that Muir's disillusionment will be a matter of degree. First we'll get the occasional strip like this, but mostly Elon will be the bee's knees. Then more like this. And then he'll be unpersoned.

      If Trump suddenly breaks with him, of course, it will happen all at once.

      As to the other two I have no idea what Oldarmourer is talking about--it might be a state matter--but the oil/gas drilling thing does have a rationale. To their mind, cheap oil and gas will bring down prices, so anything that restricts drilling is people just being EVIL for no reason, because the environment doesn't matter and global warming doesn't exist.

      Oldarmourer is one of the grumpy Canadians in the Peanut Gallery (WayneM being the other) so the gun law may be a Canadian thing.
