In my mind, Skye has become some grotesque creature whose appearance destroys sanity and that's why we haven't seen her for two strips in which she has been talking with her own daughter.
Naomi's last appearance was pretty awful, so I could see that.
ReplyDeleteThis one is pretty interesting because Muir almost finds himself admitting that yes, he and his characters do the same awful things they accuse the left of...but of course, it's "different somehow" when they do it. Naturally, he can't allow himself to admit that it's different because of his personal bias.
That's always been the thing though--it's okay that his cast is awful, because they're the 'right sort' of people, so they're just exercising their inherent rights. Not like the wrong sort, who are being uppity.
DeleteAlso, it's worth noting that apparently Muir's computer has crapped out, so DbD is on hiatus. Some days the feeling that this journey is heading towards its end is very heavy.
