The Cast's Arc Continues Downwards, Ever Downwards.

It's the Day's Day of Days! Because Mos Espa.

This is a strangely busy strip--we start with Sam getting even more unpleasant, and militarily so, and then segue into Governor Abbott becoming a heretic, and Muir once again fantasizing about his dreadful policies being put into action. We then reveal that this is all a dream, and it's an odd moment, because Muir seems to recognize that Sam's big accomplishments... well, don't add up to much in reality.

It's one of those odd moments of awareness peaking through.

  1. It's also an amusing admission that these extreme right-wingers might be good with the slogans, but actually really suck at...the governing itself. I mean, Muir makes it look like the crosswalk vote is really yawn-worthy, but these are the kinds of local issues that make for a better, more livable community. Unfortunately, Ms. Patriotic Bikini can't even stay awake for them.
