It's the Day's Day of Days! Because Etude in Black.
Muir's lesser option to extra-judicial murder is simply causing a constitutional crisis.
The man who constantly insists that the Democrats want to break the law insists that Trump should just break the law. But obviously, this doesn't count to his mind.
"'To faithfully execute the law'.
ReplyDeleteI think we’ve found a new meaning that PDJT47 can use to be rid of unConstitutional judges.
By what means shall we “execute” the law?
Rope-and-tree? Firing squad? Injection? “Old Sparky”?
Choices, choices, choices…..
'Will no one rid me of this meddlesome judge?'"

These people spend so much time and relish fantasizing about murder. With respect to Tim Walz, it goes well beyond "weird."
Incidentally, I'm confused. From all the comments it's obvious Muir is ill and taking a rare break, but where does anything say that? Can't find such an announcement anywhere.
It's at the bottom of the strip itself. "Sick as a dog. I'm gonna need a few days." With people in the comments recommending ivermectin.....
DeleteAh. Didn't think to look there.
DeleteHe must be sick as a dog because this is one of the only breaks he's taken in 22 years. That's the one thing I have to hand to this freak --- by webcomic standards, he's in a very, very small class. To be going at it for two decades and updating DAILY --- very few come even close to that.
That's not quite true--he's taken quite a few breaks over the years, especially in the early days. 2004 notably saw him miss the actual election.
DeleteDidn't know that. I was under the impression he'd only taken a few weeks off around 2004 and since then had nearly always met the daily deadline. How long have these breaks usually been?
DeleteCharles Schulz wrote Peanuts for 49 years and four months, and if I remember right I think he only took one three-week break around 1997 -- close to the end when he was already elderly. Those old-school daily deadliners were really made of tough stuff, that way. Until the 1980s it was pretty much unheard of to take breaks at all. If the author wanted time off, they'd have to leave their assistants in charge (if they were successful enough to have hired assistants). Having gaps and filling them with reruns was just not done.
