    What's always annoyed me the most about how the cast are personal pals of Trump is not only does Muir have to depict Trump as being much sharper and more cunning than he is, but that his Trump is completely in tune with the cast's extremely insular references, metaphors, and speaking in wink-wink-nod-nod tongues about everything.

    Yes, technically it's because fictional-Trump, like the cast, is being written by Muir and Muir cannot write any other way, but it's so laughably absurd to try imagining the real Trump understanding all this oblique, obtuse, insular gobbledygook.

    In real life, people much more intelligent than him would glare at these revanchist ranchers and say "I do not know what the FUCK you just said."

      Oh, God yes. I think the most egregious ones are when leftists and members of the Evil Conspiracy of Evil use the same bizarre terminology to describe themselves as their opponents do. At least with Trump and the like, there's a chance of them having picked this up.
