Fun fact--Allison Hayes, star of Attack of the 50 Foot Woman, had her health ruined by lead poisoning caught from calcium supplements that were, she discovered afterwards, produced from horse bones. She became a strident campaigner for further regulation of such supplements in her remaining years.
