As should be clear by now, nothing was coming.
But then, it should have been clear when Muir wrote this. This is a man astonished that Amway didn't make him rich, that Dianetics didn't give psychic powers, that the Saucer Men didn't come. But worse, because Muir has been hoping for a coup to upend democracy, while declaring democracy a coup.
Let us see where the madness goes in the future.
