Of course, at least part of the point of Golgo 13 is that his character traits ultimately isolate him--he is in essence the distillation of the James Bond archetype which underlines what a lonely, nihilistic existence such a life would be. Something Muir doesn't understand. (Of course, I'm dubious he even knows who Golgo 13 is, though he might.)
